With both the civil fraud /James case and the criminal 'hush money' / Bragg case of the 34 convictions, I was critical on here that the cases were ill advised and only could say so if there were not plenty of otherwise left-leaning legal scholars and former prosecutors who had problems with the case itself, whether it should've been brought or not.
I would caution against using common sense as a guide to determining your actions. I would want to be guided by the letter of the law and the written (not spoken) word, no more, no less. I think where people get into difficulty is when they try to interpret things and give themselves the benefit of the doubt, because it only makes sense.
I'm guessing he sees University students as priviliged little rich kids full of students rowing their boats down the river at the weekends, in which case I'm sure he would like to see them punished.
