Conductive Gel

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if conductive gel for use with a TENS macine is available to buy in Thailand ?

Have no idea what that is but am sure conductive gel is available as used on EKG and stress test machines so expect it is the same thing?

Yeah, a tens macine is some kind of electronic pain relief machine that you stick pads to your skin with. The KY option sounds promising, cheers.

Auto supply places sell dielectric grease, used to stop corrosion on electrical connection in vehicles.

In this application tubes are quite small, 100-ml maybe, but it conducts electricity.

Also used underneath ignition coils to conduct heat to the heat sink.

Produced by Johnson & Johnson, KY Jelly was introduced in 1919 as the first personal lubricant. The water-based and water-soluble product makes it easier to clean up than other oil-based lubricants and ultrasound gels. According to a UK-based study, KY Jelly actually produces a better ultrasound transmissivity rating than several specially-formulated ultrasound gels. KY Jelly is widely available in stores and online, and costs between $3.00 and $4.00 for a 4-ounce tube.

any aqueous based gel will work...one suspects dielectric grease will prove a little troublesome...rolleyes.gif
