Does anyone out there have information on the operation of Mitshubishi home water pumps? I have looked on the web and cannot find anything at all about them.Apart from buying a new one and taking the old to pieces I am at a loss!!!Fed up with my wife buying a new one and throwing the old out !! I can fathom out the pessure switch and relay that starts the pump but the mechanical bit is obscure any drawings would help.

you don't give much information as to the problem so how do we help?

As for the usual house pump - can't be much simple, a very basic pressure switch which senses low pressure to start the pump and high pressure to stop it. Any minor problems are usually easily and cheaply resolved by your local "pump man"

There is a wealth of information in this forum related to house pumps - suggest a search and a good read.

the "very basic pressure switch" of a Mitsubishi pump is rather difficult to adjust dry.png TV member "Pib" advised me a couple of years ago how to handle it.

here's the thread:

About the only things that periodically fail on the Mitsubishi residence pumps (the type where the motor sets on top of a small pressure tank) is the pressure switch or air control valve...and they are very easily replaced. I've bought both a Mitsubishi replacement pressure switch and air control valve (each cost around 700 baht) to keep my Mitsubishi pump running over the years. Heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new pump or having Somchai Repairman come mess with your pump. And you can buy a non-Mitsubishi pressure switch which fits just fine at many Amorn stores for around 300 baht.
