The Best Way To Nang Rong?

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me the best way to get from BKK to Nang Rong in Buri-Ram province? I normally rent a car, but my wife has bought us a new pick up truck and she can't drive. It's now sitting in the driveway waiting for me to get home. There used to be a Maxi Taxi that ran to BKK nightly, but apparently he's stopped doing it. Anyone have any good ideas?

Take the route 1 to Sara Buri, then off on the route 2 till you get to Sihkio interchange, just past the large lake. Take the route 24 from there and it will take you all the way to Nang Rong.

I'm staying just off of Sukumvit, my wife came through in a clutch. She found another guy that runs a maxi taxi from BKK to Nang Rong. I am so anxious to get home...

From there you can make your way to a certain infamous watering-hole to collect your free glass of ice-cold beer. :o

Turn onto sukumvit soi 71, go on for 3kms (under the expressway, over the railway lines). Take a right at the next major traffic-lights, after the railway lines, onto Rama 9. Up Rama 9 for about 10 kilos, then turn left onto the Inner ring road east, towards Bang Pa-in. 55 kilos later (and 2 toll stations) the road splits. Stay right for Saraburi and thereafter follow Lampard's excellent instructions :D

easy innit. :o

My wife made it real easy for me.... get drunk and pass out in the back seat of the bus. Wake up as they roll me out the door into my driveway. She is such a jewel, she'll probably have a bucket of cold watert to wake me and a hug to warm me up again.

Thanks for all the help!
