I need to post some packages to customers outside Thailand using the official customs export entry (Bai Khon). I recall reading that this process was only available through the mail center near Hualamphong. However my staff were told on the phone by Customs Department staff that the service is now only available through their office in Chaengwattana. I have searched on the forum and wider internet but cannot find any information so would like to know if anyone has any recent experience of the process and can confirm the location.

Try Samsen Nai post office at Saphan Khwai Right next to the BTS station. I send overseas and local parcels and post from there no problem.

One tip... always use the Thai packing boxes and envelopes , seems to work better than other types of packing!!

Thanks for the reply Lobber. Is there a Customs office attached to Samsen Nai PO? We need to make the export entry because our business is VAT registered and if we export without doing the paperwork and making the goods available for inspection we have to charge VAT, which I want to avoid.
