Suuplements for bone spurs and joints?

Featured Replies

Greeting folks, would like to ask had anyone have any improvement using supplement for knee joints and bone spurs on heel area?

No doubt someone will claim otherwise but AFAIK there is no such "supplement" which would be of effective help.

I have heel spurs stopped doing what enflamed the area no problems in years. Its not the spurs that are the issue but the enflamation

Once bone spurs have formed, no supplement will remove them and if they are the cause of the pain, no supplement will help that.

Many people report that glucosamine supplementation is helpful for joint pain/flexibility and although the evidence to date is conflicting. It's in the category of "more research is needed". http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19733270 http://www.biomedcentral.com/1756-0500/6/115

That you have bone spurs in your heel and heel pain does not necessarily mean the pain is solely due to the spurs. Heel pain is often the result of inflammation of the plantar fascia and a number of factors can contribute including a fallen/partially fallen arch and/or shortening of the achilles tendon and there are both simple devices/orthotics and exercises which can help with these.
