April 13, 200619 yr The Fuji ones (green) are good as well mate. They are only splash-proof, but the more expensive ones have a flash and they take excellent pictures. Saying that, splash-proof ain't that good for songkran is it; you need nuclear-proof.
April 13, 200619 yr I saw at Tukcom in Pattaya something called Dicapac. It's some sort of plastic bag with a watertight seal that protects the camera from getting wet. They said it's good also for diving but I don't want to find out the hard way that it isn't...has anyone used it before?

I've used them diving in Fiji.I think they are waterproof to about 50 foot. it's a pity CM isn't near a good beach.Do you think being inland and 1000' above sea level might havs some thing to do with it?
