BambinA, you just scared the livin' <deleted> outta me. :o I was going to try and hook up with Dale when he gets in, or maybe go to Seonai's barbecue to meet some of the clowns from TV. I'll pass on any "Night of the Living Clowns" event someone may suggest. :D

But to answer your question in theory, Bops, the TV member I would like to meet most would be a real klown, our beloved kayo. The 'why' isn't at all personal so I'll go ahead and state it - he'd supply me with free airfare to have a few drinks on him at Maktub'ar. I like to travel. :D

I've met quite a few members now but have mostly been on the wrong side of a few changs so apologies to them!

On a serious note, I have met people over the years from this, and several other forums with whom I have had the 'Thailand Thing' in common. This was something my old mates never had. I drifted away from them as my life has became more and more Thai-centric (if there is such a word!) over the years and now many of those whom I have met through Thai related forums have become some of my closest friends.

One such person I met from this forum was Mr Bojangles who apart from it transpiring across the depths of cyberspace that we drank in the very same pub in Rochdale (a small but pleasant town with an awesome football team in the NW of England) is also a top bloke to have a gargle with (especially in Pattaya!!)

It is still anathema to many to admit that they use the internet as a social tool, however in this age of technology it is merely a new way to socialise IMHO.
