October 8, 201312 yr I have a MacBook Pro and a large collection of music in my iTunes. The speakers in my MacBook are OK but I still would like something better, but without the cables. Does someone have an idea how I could connect my MacBook Pro to speakers without cables? Thanks

October 13, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the useful tips, I didn't think that a simple bluetooth connection would do it but it does. I got myself a JBL "Rumble" box, that can not only connect to an iPod or iPhone (which I don't have), but through Bluetooth straight to me MacBook Pro and the sound is certainly way better than the built-in speakers. So now I am happy. Thanks to all.
