I'm looking for the good coffee-shops with the tasty cappuchino and free either their own WiFi or 3bb WiFi. I found only Black Canyon Coffee shops are good enough because they prepare a good coffee and I can connect to 3bb there. Unfortunatelly they don't have their own WiFi but that is not a big problem. But there are only 2 of them in Samui.

In Starbuck which is at Big C, coffee is tasty but 3bb barely works.

What else?

Lots of small cafes around the island, that also have free wifi. Bangrak Cafe,near the Hyberbaric Chamber in Bangrak, Cafe Uno in Chaweng by walking street, Starbeach on way to Plai Laem, but have not been there for a while. Also there is a Starbucks in Chaweng I think.

A lot of the bigger hotels have cafes, and some have free wifi for guests, but you can normally ask for the password at reception, or from staff. Of course coffee will probably be more expensive in these places.

I have never used it, so don't know about wifi, but there is also a Coffee World in Tesco.

Bistro Journal is excellent, both in terms of coffee and wifi - it's on the ring road, not far at all from Big C on the opposite side of the ring road - http://www.bistrojournal.com/

Ive always used and liked Bravo Coffee shop on the lake road. They even have an I-pad for free use too

I see Amazon coffee has just opened up at the PTT station in Maenam..... it seemed to just appear overnight...

Soon there will be more coffee shops than bars around ... it's amazing how many there are, when you drive around the island.... most empty of people though ...

Must be the latest get on the "band wagon"...idea.... . oh.... this will make money, ...... let's do that !!

I'm right there now, coffee is excellent, wifi is terrible.
