I thought there were warrants out for him? They could meet with him in his cell any time they wished after that. We all know the army and police are seeing which way the wind is blowing, and let us hope they have learned to look more than 20 minutes into the future, unlike most. They would have at least ten times the problems if they put this dictatorial nut case into government house.

As I understand it Suthep don´t want new elections because he thinks PTP buys their votes (which the Dems probably does just as much) so there can´t be fair elections.

But surely with an election coming up 2nd of february there wont be time to "buy all votes" or?

Suthep doesn't want election. There will be vote buying again and if

he cannot control himself, he will also sell his vote
