Not 100% sure of your question but I use Faststone Image Viewer as it has a very easy to use batch converter for image resizing as I do resizing quite often.

Tywais...I'm also not sure what the OP wants exactly however I'll presume he/she would like

to send some pix with text on them to friends or "back home" and resize so the files to be

emailed are not huge. I will take it that the OP has a computer of some type with them also.

The Faststone Image Viewer and the Photo Resizer seem to be great choices to me and

they're free!

If the OP wants to use an online free service there are many out there...just Google "Free

Photo Editors" and have a click on what you're interested in and have a go. I clicked on

FotoFlexer and it seems kinda neat!
