Looking for a sourcing agent in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hello,

I run a small tshirt company and I'm looking to start a new venture in the US. I'm thinking Bangkok would be a great spot to source my tshirts as well as bring this other venture of the ground.

What I am looking for is a sourcing agent that can help me find screen printers that that are a one stop shop for printing my shirts, and I am considering doing printed trucker caps also.

For my new venture I am looking for a factory that can produce 200 - 300 made-to-measure shirts for my clients.

What is the best way to find someone? Is there an agent that browses these forums. Let me know.

I will be in Bangkok on the 21st of January and am looking to move quickly.

Thank you!

Hi Dikdronk,

Great to hear about your new venture!

I would be more than happy to help you and discus your sourcing requirements in more detail. I am based in Bangkok and know several screen printers.

Feel free to PM me

Regards,

Alex

For a quantity of 200-300 it will probably be a lot cheaper getting this done in America. Considering shipping expense and import duties. The one factory I have a contact for has a minimum requirement of 100 per size t shirt.

Hey Gavin,

Thanks for the response. Any suppliers in the US that you would recommend?

Thanks!

The suppliers in the US will probably have sourced the Tee's from Thailand!

Anyway, there are a lot of shops in Pratunam Market that work for a lot less than 100 pieces per size. Even at Bobae Market you buy by the dozen, not by the 100s, and that's considered the wholesale market.

I don't do sourcing, but a poster above offered his services.

In the US I don't know of any than can do made to measure sorry, I do have an old classmate that does screen printing but uses the standard American t shirt companies like Gildan, Hanes etc. As for Bobae and pratunam you can order by the dozen but that will be wholesale not custom made to order t shirts. Thailand is a good option if the custom made to measure t shirts is very important. For a quantity of 300 that's not gonna happen in Thailand though.

Why is a quantity of 300 not happening in Thailand? We have had less than 30 made in Pratunam, and that's in different sizes.

Bobae requires minimum orders by the dozen.

Thanks for all the valuable information! I'm a couple miles from Pratunam and will be checking it out.
