However, 2014, he said, should see a turnaround as the global economy is recovering, with a 5% growth in exports expected.Mr. Nopporn further stated that even though the economic outlook for 2014 seems to be positive, it is still necessary to appropriately adjust the nation’s exporting strategies to achieve long-term success.The Commerce Minister reported the forecast to the Cabinet last December; meanwhile, the Thai National Shippers’ Council has already come up with a strategy to effectively promote growth in exports.
