I wonder if a member can steer me in the right direction regarding my Fino. I bought the bike new over 3 years ago. Although I paid for the bike, it was put in my ex partners name. Just over a year ago we split up. I moved to Pattaya and bought the Fino with me, she kept the truck and has never bothered or contacted me since. I taxed and insured the scooter a few months ago with no problems. However, I do wonder if I ever want to sell the bike, I might have a problem as I'm not on the owners green book. Is changing the ownership a issue? What I don't want to do is have contact with my ex over it. I'm tempted to leave it as it is, but of course if I get pulled by the police, and they want to see the green book, I might encounter a problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You do not own the scooter so you cannot change the name.

If you want to change the name you need to contact your ex.
