webfact Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Govt Spokeswoman Presses Charges Against PCAD GuardsBy Khaosod EnglishMs. Sunisa LertpakawatBANGKOK: -- Deputy spokeswoman of the Prime Minister Office has pressed charges against anti-government guards who had briefly detained her on 25 February.Ms. Sunisa Lertpakawat was identified and captured by security guards of the People′s Committee for Absolute Democracy With the King As Head of State (PCAD) near their rally site in Pathumwan Intersection of Bangkok. The guards were seen interrogating Ms. Sunisa at their headquarters tent before she was released and told to leave the protest site.PCAD leaders have previously vowed to "arrest" top officials of the government in the bid to oust Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her Cabinet members.Speaking to the police at Pathumwan Police Station today, Ms. Sunisa expressed her wish to press charge against the guards for illegal detention and physical intimidation.Ms. Sunisa said she was visiting Nitiphol Clinic near the intersection for her dermatological conditions when the guards recognised her. The spokeswoman insisted she was not on a mission to spy on the protesters and she did not intend to provoke the PCAD demonstrators in anyway."I have to see my personal doctor who treats my skin," Ms. Sunisa told reporters, "If I didn′t go there, I would have to to the branch in Bang Kapi, which is very far from my residence".Ms. Sunisa also claimed that she decided to visit the clinic in Pathumwan despite its close proximity to the protesters because PCAD leaders have repeatedly asserted that their rallies are peaceful and non-violent.However, she said, her experience tells otherwise. According to Ms. Sunisa, a group of 20 PCAD guards stalked her shortly after she left the clinic and eventually mobbed her, some pulling her by the hair. The guards later escorted her for an interrogation."Let me stress that I didn′t intend to get close to the demonstrators and provoke them," Ms. Sunisa said, "I had to go because it was really necessary. Please give me some fairness".Source: http://www.khaosod.co.th/en/view_newsonline.php?newsid=TVRNNU16UTVOakV3Tnc9PQ== -- Khaosod English 2014-02-27
Popular Post ShannonT Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 The guards won't be able to come to the police station to acknowledge the kidnapping charges because they are busy protecting the fugitive Suthep who can't go to the police station to acknowledge the murder charges because he is busy toppling an elected government. 19
Popular Post casualbiker Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 Ummm she really said Nittiphol clinic! She really needs to get her story straight! Sent from my XT1032 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Regardless of the fact that she is a sycophant part of the Peua Thai propaganda machine, the PCAD guards had no right to detain her nor to physically intimidate her. Of course, she could well be lying about the severity of the PCAD guards' actions, as you claim seems to be the case according to Nittiphol Clinic (source?), for her reasons for being in the area. But she could also not be lying in this particular instance, given that we do know that they detained her. Legally speaking the PCAD guards were in the wrong, but you have to wonder what would happen if a Rangers fan walked into a Celtic pub wearing his preferred team's shirt. Asking for trouble? 2
mrtoad Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 What a load of BS. Total set up, to try and play the victim. 1
djjamie Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 There is even a red shirt in the back ground. So she must be a red shirt spy! 1

If the guards were half decent people they would not have acted this way. If anything, she exposed their true nature. 3
sirineou Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 What a load of BS. Total set up, to try and play the victim. If so, good for her, a nice bit of political theater. and the idiot guards fell for it, 1

Can you give me some examples of how The Reds have behaved when Abhasit has gone into their perceived territory?
bigbamboo Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Runaway Su is either very naïve or very stupid. Or both. 1

Come on. If you want to be taken seriously and want people to try to understand your beliefs you really should stick with the facts and not make everything you post completely over the top.Saying that. Yes the guards are in the wrong and illegally detained her. They had no legal right to do that.
Pib Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 So she is filing a police complaint against PCAD "guards" in general...no specific guards." by name" I'm assuming. I figure the event did occur but with no individual names or possible good description of the guards if the police would ever arrest any (yea, right) for Ms Sunisa to identify it's a wasted police complaint other than for some short term media attention. OK BIB, get out there and arrest the guards involved and prove me wrong. 1
winstonc Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 going in and around a lions den isnt a bright move is it...if it happened it was wrong but being bright isnt her strong point..
ChrisY1 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Why is this bull**it news....stupid woman....
Scamper Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Bottom line, she shouldn't have been detained. Bottom line, Suthep and the leaders of the PDRC condemned the action.

taony Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 She should have went to bang kapi. Tough its far away. Whatever happened, innocent or a marketing plan from the start, the govt is milking this, and its over the top. She has too much to say. -*I typed this myself*- 1
Popular Post Robby nz Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) The original story said that some protesters recognized her and blew whistles at her and when the guards went to investigate they took her away to safety in the BKK museum before taking her to a car park and sending her on her way. Seems to be some serious changes now. But then she is a PR spinperson spokesperson. Edited February 27, 2014 by Robby nz 4

If the guards were half decent people they would not have acted this way. If anything, she exposed their true nature. In 2010 how did the Red guards act? I'm not condoning the guards if they did actually assault her, but I find that there are a lot of gaps in the story. Anyway, still waiting for you to answer a number of questions, other than you just spreading propaganda?
Confuscious Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Ms. Sunisa also claimed that she decided to visit the clinic in Pathumwan despite its close proximity to the protesters because PCAD leaders have repeatedly asserted that their rallies are peaceful and non-violent. hahahahahahahahahahahaha What a load of BS. CiaranO Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Good on her - now lets see if the police have b**ls to their jobs

Nope...but the way the BIB work unless you give them the name and address of the suspect(s) in the complaint nothing will probably ever happen. Plus, with all the political mud slinging, law suits, political tit-for-tat, etc, I seriously, seriously doubt the BIB will do anything other than to file the complaint in File 13.
Popular Post Misterwhisper Posted February 27, 2014 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) "If I didn′t go there, I would have to [go] to the branch in Bang Kapi, which is very far from my residence". Just in case, Miss Sunisa isn't aware, there is another branch of "Nittiphol Clinic" (their website actually spells it "Nitipon Clinic") at Phrompong opposite Emporium; and another at Victory Monument; another in Pratunam; another on Rama IV Rd.; another at Esplanade (Ratchada Rd.), and so on. All of them are just a few minutes drive from Siam Square (and even less by BTS). By claiming her only other option would have been the "very far from my residence" Bangkapi branch shows that she takes every one of us for an idiot. No, it HAD to be the Siam Square branch - probably for certain reasons. Perhaps time for her to write a new book, "Nitipon Clinic, where are you exactly?", where she can wax on over 170 pages about her insufferable ordeal at the sweaty hands of brutish PCAD guards and her own inability to get her facts straight with regards to Nitipon Clinic branches that she could have comfortably reached without having to embark on an Odyssee across town. Having said that, it doesn't of course justify the treatment she allegedly received from those PCAD guards. If it ever happened to the extent she claims. http://www.nitiponclinic.com/%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B8%E0%B8%87%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%AB%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%99%E0%B8%84%E0%B8%A3%E0%B9%81%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%B0%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%82%E0%B8%95%E0%B8%9B%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%93%E0%B8%91%E0%B8%A5/ Edited February 27, 2014 by Misterwhisper 4
noitom Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 She had to get in for that facial. Eventually, the protesters let her go, but mad the effort for the important facial substantial.
Smokemachine Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I think the protesters guards are doing a good job. She is a close aide of TS regime. Some protesters may get emotionally and treat her real nasty. But she come out from there peacefully in one piece right. Or do i miss something. Did she get injured? 1
