I'm assuming you're looking for something like this http://plumbing.about.com/od/irrigation/ss/How-To-Use-A-Telescoping-Repair-Coupling.htm in order to fix an immovable or buried pipe.

Not something I've seen here, the big retailers won't carry it because it's specialist and slow moving, the small retailers won't have it because the local pipe chaps don't know about them.

I've used a PVC maintenance coupling to make the final link when fixing a buried pipe. There are also couplers with a compression seal on both ends which can be slid up the pipe, pipes lined up, then the coupler slid back. Not fantastic if you have high pressure mind.

thanks crossy , its not high pressure so i may have to go to plan b , perhaps one of those rubber sleeves they use to connect septic tanks together they are 100mm as well

its a drain pipe not high pressure , but both ends are fixed and cannot be moved , anyway today i purchased a rubber coupling used on septic tanks which comes with clamps , basically you can fold them up and slip one end over , then unfold the other with the aid of a screwdriver lever onto the pipe , once on u slide them back and forward ... worked well and cheap ...
