Chaiyaphum hastens its own development to become one of "The Best Cities"

Not really fussed with Tat Ton Falls, a recent visit to "Thailand's Stonehenge" was interesting, but not what was expected. Oddly enough, nothing at all like Stonehenge. :) Marketing at it's best.
After 13 years coming to Chaiyaphum, I still find it friendly and, so far, not over-commercialised & reasonably quiet.
Getting around it can be entertaining, but is generally OK.

Although I don't remember the name of the street it is on, there is an electrical goods store where the daughters went to uni in Melbourne, so when they are about English is no issue. If they are not there, dad will ring one for me.
We are 40km or so from Chaiyaphum, going there caters for the 90% of the things not available locally. The remaining 10% wait for a BKK trip or just aren't important enough.

If you are a "Big City" person, rural life may not agree with you. I live in the city, I live in the country - village life is far better.
