Thai cabinet ministers ordered to report to military

BANGKOK, May 22, 2014 (AFP) - Thailand's coup leaders on Thursday ordered members of the now-deposed government's cabinet to report to the military by the end of the day.

"In order to keep peace and order, the National Peace and Order Maintaining Council orders these persons to report themselves to the Council by May 22," said a statement read out on television by the military.

Chalerm has a Bentley for sale really cheap. Just needs to be picked up in Cambodia. Comes fully stocked with alcohol and ear medicine.

Hope pink suits you.

Would that include the caretaker defense minister? PTP were insisting Ms. Yingluck was still caretaker defense minister and only removed from her caretaker PM role.

Anyone know where she and the man who replaced her are? Say what you want about him but he was smart enough to stay away from the meetings Tuesday and today.

I do believe the ministers will form a government in exile..maybe Cambodia and the world will recognise them as the true government of Thailand. That will p155 of prayuth. Hes getting no easy ride with this coup. He is one of many with his.."name on one" If Civil War is avoided I will be surprised but don dare blame it on the reds...blame it on the army and their paymasters(same people who funded Suthep)..Thailand nose diving into the abyss

Does it really matter how many groundhog days here are - provided they scour Thailand of all the corrupt politicians and murdering scum hanging out of Thaksin a r s e.

What gives you that idea?

Version 1.X.X to Version 11.X.X didn't manage to do it,

So why do you think, Version 12.x.x would be any different?

You're dreaming of tomorrow but as we all know in Thailand, tomorrow never comes!

There are RUMORS that Chalerm was taken already.

Other rumors told that the ex-acting-caretaker-placeholder PM is hiding in the US embassy, but Christy (name/spelling????) told it isn't true.....

Attention these are rumors not facts.

Add from Tweeter:

Kristie Kenney @KristieKenney

Absolutely false. Do not believe rumors RT @timothygo_only1: the acting PM is reportedly at the US Embassy

Dear Gen Prayuth,

Thankx for making an end to this Shinawatra dynasty, now it's time to rebuild the country.

And please do not forget to round up all the redshirt posters on Thaivisa.com, or they will keep hurting the country.

May the Lord Buddha be with you....

According to the newly crown Miss Thailand Universe, the red ought to be executed.

I think that was what she posted a few months ago.

Sadly, her wish could eventually come true.
