General Meeting, Chiang Mai Expats Club, Le Meridien Hotel, Saturday, June 28 gather at 10 am for 10:30 pm start.

Program: CEC Board's will preview the club's new constitution and website. Reader's Theater will entertain. And volunteers from TEDx Chiang Mai will talk about their international creativity and idea forum to be held at Le Meridien on 27 September -- a "spa treatment for the brain and soul" with over 20 exciting international speakers and artists. CEC members will be able to purchase discounted tickets for TEDx after Saturday's meeting.

Also at Saturday's meeting, last chance to buy discounted tickets for River Market's famous 4th of July Party. Food, music, dancing, fireworks, games for the kids -- fun for the entire family. Everyone from all nations welcome for a traditional American celebration!

Members can purchase adult tickets for 1000 baht -- discount of 200 baht. But the last chance to buy is at the meeting this Saturday morning.

Lifetime membership in Chiang Mai Expats Club is 1000 baht and membership applications are available at Saturday's meeting.

Entry into Saturday's meeting is 120 baht for members and 170 baht for guests.

can anyone perhaps answer me please....Is the expat club still meeting 3rd Sat in month and is it happening this weekend,,,easter? and at the Le Meridien?

The next general meeting is this Saturday (March 26) at 10AM at the LeMeridien Hotel. Other than some general business, Laurie Simmons, Foreign Police Liasion at the Chiang Mai Muang Police Station will speak on "Expats and the Thai Police". I would note that there isn't always a monthly general meeting (e.g., there is no meeting this April, I believe).
