The latest seems to be that Basanta will replace Rojo at left back and Demichelis will replace Fernandez at centre-back. The loss of Rojo is major as Basanta is a very different sort of LB who doesn't bomb forward much and likely not as quick defensively. Demi for Fernandez ? Fernandez has been mediocre but Demi is old and without pace. Good with the ball at his feet and can move the ball up the pitch. Both changes cost Argentina pace in the back where they weren't strong to begin with.

There was talk that Gago would be replaced but the latest is that he won't. I was hoping Enzo Perez would get a run out but apparently it ain't happening.

So, Messi will be asked to do the magical again. Will Higuain finally show up ? Will Di Maria cut out the mistakes while still remaining dangerous ?
