Holiday Visa To China

Featured Replies

Hi there

Anyone know about getting visas to CHina for Thai and UK citizens. My wife and I are going to CHina for 3 weeks at the end of August and will need to get visas.

Any ideas of how long it takes to get the visas?

Is the process the same for Thai and Uk citizens?

I have been trying to call the Consulate for days and can't seem to get through. Any advice is most appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time Vinny, I had already checked those out before I made the posting. What it doesn't say on the site is how long it takes to get the visa for a UK or Thai citizen applying in Bangkok.

I was just wondering if any other member had applied in BKK for a visa to China...

Usually, I get them in Hong Kong within half a day, but once, last year, did in Bangkok, 2 days. (European P/port)

Thanks Axel.

We will need to get them in Bangers as we will be flying into Xiamen, making our way by train to Beijing and then returning overland through to Hong Kong. Looking forward to it.
