Congrats indeed!

Do you think that maybe the baby is a priority over my bike service? LOL

Comments welcome. biggrin.png

Since Brian doesn't do the service himself, but rather his mechanics, I don't think it would be a problem to stop by the shop.

No....really?

Gosh..........why didn't I think of that.

Reason for asking was because I travel quite a ways to get to his shop (good time etc?) and also the possibility of purchasing a Forza.

and also the possibility of purchasing a Forza.

For which you might need a variator?:-)

Neal you have the variator for Forza now.

Posted

Stock Forza 33.3 hp

With Exhaust 33.1 hp

With J Costa and exhaust 38 Hp.

Based purely on percentages and taken from the Forza 250 dyno info. With J Costa alone on a "300" you should get 35.5.

I usually do my best thinking in the shower.whistling.gif

To put the electric toothbrush in perspective?

Honda CBR250R 249cc 24hp with after market exhaust 25+

Honda CBR300R 286cc 30.5hp

Honda Forza 300 279cc 33.3hp with variator est 35.5, plus free flow exhaust 38hp (Engine still stock!)

So in the cc battle so far the scooter is ahead on power, that and the effect of CVT

stock honda forza 300 gives 25,4 hp crank and 26 nm torque makes it similar with honda cbr250r in terms of power but forza is 30 kgs heavier than honda cbr250r so you do the math.

Engine ACG Output 380W Starter Self starter Ignition Fully transistorised Battery Fuel Consumption 30.8km/l (87mpg) (WMTC mode*) Battery Capacity 11Ah-MF Max. Power Output 19kw @ 7,500rpm Engine Displacement 279cc Fuel Tank Capacity 11.6L Max. Torque 26Nm @ 5,000rpm Engine Type Liquid-cooled 4-stroke 4-valve OHC single Bore × Stroke 72 x 68.5mm Compression Ratio 10.5:1 Oil Capacity 1.5L

Just working with the numbers I have. If i use yours the % improvement becomes 29hp.

Forza 250 was 24.8. So yes comparable to CBR250.

As a reference they got 10.9 from a PCX 125 which is about right. So dyno is not way off.

But as they say figures lie and lairs figurewink.png

Not saying the scooter is faster just the engine is not a dog or an electric toothbrush.

Awesome. I shall be in touch.

Also I saw on YouTube some older vid about sumit at the Honda rider training center. Is there some affiliation? Only asking cause I need to do the next available license course

We have brought groups of customers there for training in the past. We haven't been doing many activities this year, but plan to do more next year. I'll let you know as soon as I have more info about the next one. Thanks.
