Anyone Know Where I Can Park My Car In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

hi there,

I live in chiang mai but I will be driving down to bangkok on saturday and will need to leave it somewhere for 11 days as i will be out of the country. Anyone know anywhere safe and cheap i can leave it?

Or would it be save to just park it anywhere on the street for the 11 days.

Lert me know what you think...

Thanks,

Kish

Airport parking fee for 11 days will cost you 2,750 baht excluding petrol chiang mai - bangkok - chiang mai. Suggest that you fly low cost to Bangkok. Leave your car at home and have peace of mind without having to worry the car bring scratch or lost.

Yeah, for just 11 days I think the airport is an attractive option..

Alternatively, how about the parking at the Mor Chit skytrain station? Or any Tesco/Carrefour parking lot?

make a deal with the owner of a gas station, it could be cheaper and safer than the bangkok airport.

i have a friend that lives near silom, I was thinking of leaving it parked on the same street as his condo for the 11 days as his condo doesnt have a parking lot. Bad idea or good idea?

Also, kinda liked the ideas offered both parking in tesce or a petrol station.

From thouse of you that know bangkok which of the three ideas would you think is the best/safest/hassle free? Or if anyone else has a better sergestion please let me know.

(if tasco or petrol station what area should I go to? as I dont know bangkok)

Many thanks,

Kish

I park my truck at my condo but at a private parking stall that is covered and provides its own night security. It costs 600 baht/month. I leave my truck for 3 weeks while I'm away working with no problems.

The airport is the safest option unless you happen to know someone with a gas station or house - in the end a random gas station owner is still a stranger. For Tesco/Carrefour, etc. you're at the mercy of the night security guards (these places are typically fine for day parking though).

hi again,

thanks for the responces, most illuminating. I recon the private parking for 600b/month sounds excellent!!! Where could I do this

Thanks once again...

Kish

I've stumbled upon a great place to park in Bkk. Not really for the airport, it's central and near (20 mtrs) the Skytrain....and FREE!!!!

I can give you 2 options.

1. You can Park it at the Hotel near the airport where I work for. Free.

2. Or park it at my place where I live (near Sathorn). Free.

PM me for further info.
