Pump prices to go down 30 satang to one baht tomorrow

BANGKOK: -- Pump prices will be reduced from 30 satang to one baht a litre beginning at 5 am.tomorrow.
The price adjustment came after the National Energy Policy Committee agreed to increase the contribution to the fund for diesel by 30 satang to 3.35 baht, and reduce the contribution for Gasohol 95 by 40 satang to 3.25 baht following the falling global oil prices.


As a consequence, pump prices for Gasohol 95 will be reduced by one baht, Gasohol 91 and E 20 60 satang, and diesel 30 satang.

The new prices are: Gasohol 95, 34.96 baht a litre; Gasohol 91, 26.58 baht; E20, 25.18 baht; and Diesel 26.09 baht.

Price of E 85 will remain unchanged at 22.08 baht.

As of Sunday, the oil fund’s balance was 19.625 billion baht in credit. The new rates of contribution were expected to add 413 million baht to the fund each month, Areepong Poocha-um, permanent secretary to the Energy Ministry said.
