Superstar Mario Maurer’s bro detained after running police checkpoint

CHONBURI: -- Brother of lakorn star Mario Maurer was taken to a Chonburi police station last night after he ran a checkpoint.

Marco Maurer, who raps under the name “Psycho,” said he panicked after seeing a checkpoint on his way home to Bangkok at midnight last night, so he called a friend who encouraged him to just drive through it.

Chonburi police promptly called for backup and closed a bridge in the Nong Mai Dang sub-district, preventing the 30-year-old rapper from escaping.

Please show some respect to these Thai "Superstars", they act as mentors and role models to the youth of the country. In return they ask for nothing except respect, not even preferential treatment or financial reward.
