And the first person interested you decide to keep it secret.

Most pointless thread i read all week.

And the most pointless answer I read all year.

okay okay one of the reasons was the rep from Hevta made a passing comment/insult to the builder who he had only just met !! and the look on the builders face told me that there was no way that they were ever going to work together.

Another reason was that Hevta use Chinese imported hardware the other company does not, it is of European origin.

So anyone who likes the style of windows in the pics and GENUINELY wants more info because they plan to get double glazed windows in the near future please pm me I will do my best to help.

I priced double glazed windows from Sun Paradise in 2007 for the 40 or so windows I had installed in Buriram. At the time it was out of my price range. But I see the price in Buriram of made in Thailand custom size and imported double glazed windows is much lower now. I would not speculate where the hardware in the window fabrication was made, but the windows were not made in China. I was told there was a minimum size order for the double glazed windows and/or for custom size windows at Ruangsangthai to be made by a qualified window fabrication company. I certainly understand Blueeyes concern over a window supplier who did not get along with his house builder. Blueeyes posted photos of a home with more than enough windows to make most window fabricators take him seriously. In 2007 none of the Buriram or Surin builders merchants stores that I shopped had any sort of "window showroom" inside any stores to see how any particular style of window operated.

Thanks for positive reply kamalabob2 you are right in your thinking, that a window supplier who is not going to get on with your builder is a recipe for ill fitting windows.

Sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling as well as any research that you have done, so if you feel comfortable with the supplier/fitter then go for it.

also nice to get guarantees regarding discolouration, and hardware etc. There were some minor points that needed tweaking but this was done without any comlaining.
