'Heartbroken' Tourist Attempts Suicide in Pattaya Bar

PATTAYA — A foreign tourist attempted suicide in a bar in Pattaya this morning after he saw his ex-girlfriend with another man, police say.

Police have identified the man as a 44-year-old Canadian national. Rescue workers were called to assist him at around 3 am today in front of a bar on Soi Pattaya 16.

The tourist reportedly had a large knife wounds on his right arm, and is now being treated at Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

A witness, Wassana Yoosuparb, told police that the Canadian man was drinking at the bar when he saw a woman he used to date with another man.

and if he had been there earlier he may have seen her with a different man - some people just don't understand the booking system here

Obviously that poor woman was being 'led atray' by the other nasty falang who did not know that she belonged to the Canadian.

Khao Lao will do that to you, on the other hand most bar maids have many more things that have completely the opposite effect on most.

Fancy doing it in a bar ......cry for help and a waste of good blood...i hope he feels better soon and see's the error in his thoughts.
