Hangover HH, wife giving you jip or money on the Irons weekend?

Far from it. England regained the Ashes. It was an absolutely delightful weekend.

I only object to mugs who recently appear on tv, just to hurl insults and trying to give it large. Otherwise, it's just a question of bringing young Mr Conn into line with no intended malicious intent. :)

Ooooh, for a bunch of suffern poofters, it certainly does get rough in here :)

I presume that you can't replace the good old red-blooded norvern culture of taking the whippets for a walk and then beating up the wife then , mr bj ?

Gawd luv a duck. It's grim up there :D

Although, admittedly, only watching the highlights of Saturday's game. It was painfully obvious to all and sundry that Carlton Cole absolutely gifted Tottenham with the goal that allowed them back into the game , and eventually win it. Further, on the evidence of what I have thus far seen, I have not doubt that Spurs will be found wanting by the likes of Arsenal, Man u, Chelsea , and even Liverpool (when the play them again).

/quote]

Watched the whole game and although the hammers showed a lot of urgency and a certain amount aggression they lacked that little spark or quality aka keiron dyer maybe, that could open a game up or take advantage of a slip up. 'Absolutely gifted' is a tad harsh. defoe still was 20 yards from goal and had west ham players not that far away and they had more than enough time to get to him. As had green plenty of time to see the ball, probably why zola said the goal wasnt coles fault. but it was a very powerful shot and to much for the 'ENGLAND' keeper, god help us !. as much as coles shot was unexpected this just had to much power, defoe made the right decision at the right time. West ham had enough ball in the Tottenham box and put lots of aerial pressure on. but were not able to take advantage. youre new signing jimenez looks a quality player, but maybe slightly frail. During the game I always thought that spurs just had a little to much experience for west ham. As you say maybe against the top four teams we will be more challenged. But bring jj dawson woodgate into the equation and you have a TEAM and a bench that will match most. at the mo all I can say is bring them on.

CV ?

Semi retired TEFL now. Before full-time, Northern Portugal, then Northern Thailand and SE England. Serious interest in all things LOS , and more ... But a little knowledge shouldn't really be a problem for you. Even if you do habitually "grist" © (her at home) wrongly. :D

Who mentioned anything about mincab driving, except for the young Mr Conn ? But I had thought that taking 'the knowledge' only applied to proper London cab drivers ? Minicab drivers only have knowledge of trying (unsuccessfully ) to keep their cars free of stale cigarette stench , in my experience. But you may well have greater knowledge that I on the subject of all things minicabs. :D

You've made me move into the Living Room for a better connection now, you little rascal you..

Just to explain myself to the thick, uneducated, deaf, dumb & those from Devon, both T*ttenham & West Ham progressed from the 3rd Round of the Carling Cup this week & i hope we draw each other, as per my Post & Alfredo's reply..

You however, are really, really good with the tapping of your Fingers aren't you Sweetheart ??? :)

Next time you're on Samui, look me up Mate, i'm more than accomodating & will gladly buy you a Beer/Shandy/Babysham.. :D

Oh & yeah, standing on the ball really does suit you....

Mr Singh is the 2nd highest poster on the Spuds thread. Maybe a secret admirer deep down. :)

Subliminal tendencies are very apparent within the west ham brethren. As observed when I looked at the west ham thread recently. Scary!

but even scarier was the west ham v millwall violence thread, never mind being at upton park, that thread was simmering with issues

so mr signhy we cant see you growing up that way, so welcome to a grown ups football thread.
