Any air conditioner shop will have people available that can move a split system - but maybe be better to buy a new unit for sleeping area? Probably do not need as large a unit and you might want the cooling ability in living room next month. If this is a rental home you would have to get approval of owner.

Yes we have done it several times. We buy a new one for the sleeping area and put the old ones in 2nd then 3rd then 4th bedroom. We don't use aircon downstairs in the living areas.

We have rent the house for 6 years. The aircon in living room is from us. We have another one in the office. We spend most of the time in the office. I thought also to buy a third one maybe but we are not staying a lot in the living room. Will ask in some shops later

thanks for help

If size is OK they should be able to move for a reasonable amount - but with the upcoming foul air (if you have not been through a burning season yet) you might want to keep clean air inside and use air more in living room (even if not living there much). As rental seems to be for the long term you would save the extra move charge by buying a new unit for bedroom.

In Surin, the 'aircon man' that we have used for many years only charges 2,500 Baht to move the aircon from one room to another, or, from one house to another. A significant part of the cost is recharging the units with refrigerant (gas). And that price includes filling in the holes left in the wall when the old aircon is removed. smile.png
