Dumb movie on Netflix "The Hunters"

Featured Replies

Anyone familiar with this movie that just showed up on Netflix? At least some of it seems to have been filmed in Chiang Mai. It has some nice aerial views.

Great acting and storyline and very believable - not.

But yes, quite a lot filmed in Chiangmai city and province.

Is this the YA movie about some kids searching for their parents?

I would have zero interest in a movie made in Chiang Mai.

It looks like a real nothing movie. I thought you were talking about "the hunter" , starring willem dafoe, which I found to be very good. the movie you refer to, on the other hand, looks to be fit only for teenage girls of the inbred variety.

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't seem to have Netflix available in Thailand. Is it? If so, how do you get it? Thanks.

I watched it. Waste of time. Would never recommend it.

That said, I wish I hadn't attempted to watch 'Inherent Vice' - a waste of life & 'Birdman' more pretentious crap. Both have been nominated this year.

Just don't let 'em know that you're in Thailand.

A VPN will allow you to watch it but I would assume that you would have to have a US credit card to pay

Yes, you need VPN and a US credit card.

The only reason we watched 10 minutes or so was to see some Chiang Mai scenes. It wasn't worth it to watch more to see if they came back to Chiang Mai.

Even our niece and nephew who manage to watch pretty dumb movies stopped watching.
