Haircut Pattaya 2015

Featured Replies

Now I know an old thread already exists on this topic.

I need a haircut and I would prefer a women, I've found they do a better job in Thailand.

Any suggestions and directions.

Many thanks...

Who wouldn't?

To return to the topic, I often go to the 70B place opposite the Rcon building on Soi Buakow, near the night market area. Some of the ladies in there do a good haircut. Others are not so competent. The guy in there does Thai-style haircuts and should be avoided unless you want that style.

I've seen that place and it's always busy. I am looking for a touch less barber and slightly more hairdresser?

not sure if they have a salon on pattaya but chalachol in bangkok have consistently good male and female hairdressers. might be considered a bit expensive to some at 650 baht wash/head massage/cut. the last time i was there a foreign buy had literally a little hair at the sides and back and nothing on top - at least i have something to cut!

Whatever you do indicate with parted fingers how much you want cut........

No indication and you will get scalped if you ask for eg a trim

Always do ;)

Universal sign language for hair cuts...

Just buy some scissors and cut it yourself

Good one Paddy, good one. Hadn't thought of that.

sooktemdee spa and massage, up off soi Diana I guess, just past Opey place, same side of street heading East. A nice little Isaan gal did a fine job. This was a year ago.

As you come down Pattaya klang, just before the traffic lights onto 2nd road, there's a barbourshop on the left with female staff. Not expensive.

Try Lek at Hair Well, Central Festival. You will not get dissappointed.

Since I don't have that much hair left I rather not pay +200 baht for a hair cut.

I found a place at soi portisan road (near naklua road), 80 baht.

50/50 % chance of getting a woman hair cutter.

A dude did it last time and it looks okay.

Soi bakaou has plenty of choice, 80 baht. Ask for scissor cut, if they have fear in their eyes go elsewhere. It's trial and error finding a good one.

So true.

I did get a decent haircut just off Walking Street maybe on the Soi that Secrets is on but this was 5 or 6 years ago and I highly doubt the lady who cut my hair still works there.

I don't know what You mean with a decent haircut. You want as cheap as possible ? Go anywhere see posts above.

It's like everything else in life. If You want a professional it cost more...
