BANGKOK, 8 May 2015, (NNT) - The SRT Electrified Train (SRTET) Company Limited plans to organize several campaigns and promotions to commemorate the Airport Rail Link’s 4th year anniversary starting this May 16.

Mr. Wasin Wannapruek, Marketing Manager of the SRTET, operator of Airport Rail Link, said the campaigns are the company’s ways of expressing goodwill and gratitude towards its passengers for giving warm response since its inception.

One of the campaigns is for buyers of Airport Rail Link’s Smart Pass from May 16 – 19 to choose two small gifts from a range of coffee, notebooks, pens, and herbal inhalers.

The SRTET will also provide discount for passengers seeking to switch to cards which take less time to process than travel coins, resulting in the system being able to accommodate more passengers.

Furthermore, the SRT is offering Thai Smile ticket holders a privilege to buy Airport Rail Link Smart Pass at 80 baht off the original price as well as another 40 baht discount in taxi fare called from “Grabtaxi” mobile phone application. The campaign starts from May 16 to November 16, 2015.

What a nerve, celebrating such an unmitigated disaster - it is a beacon of corruption and mismanagement and i would not recommend it to anyone visiting Thailand.

StaRted off so well before the descent into chaos, overcrowding, uncertainty and confusion, together with concerns about safety. Great idea, good product, captive market and it's stuffed.

I wish they'd celebrate by actually running the Express Line.

They are. Or, you get to ride on its trains at normal prices.
