Nice try but if I was talking about "The Best Academy" I would be looking at the standard of footballers....not whether the grass is greener or the stands are bigger!biggrin.png

Honestly, you really are in no position to try throwing them in.

So, like i said, our 61000 new stadium in 2018 is going to be superb and push our revenues sky high, second biggest in the country, and actually i'll stop there because i'm actually starting to feel a little sorry for you lads because in the cold light of day, all LFC is right now is a club owned by american franchise owners that clearly don't give a toss about the club, only the global revenues, , an old stadium in need of everything, and a bit of a buffoon manager frankly, that is favorite to be the first to get the push. You even finished below us last season. Quite why you lot our throwing them in at anyone is beyond me!!

Luving it with Benteke Carms, Dont know if you've heard of it but apparently players under 27 can and do make a full recovery from severe ligement damage, get it after 27 aka shearer they lose a yard or so of pace. theres about as much chance of benteke being 24 as pigs

Flyimg . And cant see lambert changing his style to suit, all things being equal maybe benteke will go one better than carroll lambert balloteli ect ect and put a final nail in lamberts coffin?

rijit

The slow lads haven't quite realized that i was talking about our academy as a "facility" Sounds like desperation! And that was the only retort!

I think the Benteke purchase, if Rodgers driven which you'd expect, will be the end of him. And Lambert a bust flush.

Sorry we were talking about football teams ambitions, not architects and civil engineers. Do you get a trophy for the best academy facilities in the world. I guess they're buying your shirts in Australia with a Facility Trophy on the back and a gold star clap2.gif

Ah bless!! Truth hurts Bob, doesn't it. I will be the first btw to mourn the departure of Brendon Rodgers because i simply love his post match interviews and press conferences. He provides more entertainment during those few moments than he ever will in a football match!!

^^ Could be down to the obsession you tinies have with LFC. Seems that all of you post more about our team/purchases/manager/facilities than you do about your own. You are not the worst by any stretch Carms...but the affliction seems to be catching down the lane. Almost flattering reallythumbsup.gif

Benzema to Arsenal for £40m says the Sun back page headline today. Slightly more believable than the click magnets. Much prefer that to the Higuain rumour.

Bob....stop copying Eedgits posts...it's not time for my kid's English lesson yetsmile.png

but while we are on...<deleted> is he on about? Benteke was born in December 1990...so is 24 years of age...I do hope he is not being racist regarding a black guy's facial appearance? Bannable offence I would have thoughtgiggle.gif ...."pigs flyimg?????There's one for my lad to puzzle over after schoolbiggrin.png

My apologies, it was too good to pass up.

Regarding age, apparently Benteke has committed a federal offence by falsifiing his documents so that chicks think he is really younger than he is.

Also it would seem our friend rij is now a specialist in Sports injury.

Btw Tiny torts we responded to the Benteke rumour with stats and facts a few pages back. You chose to not respond, don't expect us to post again.

And the whole point was Victor Moses, your reaction suggests you know as well as we do he is not an ambitious signing. Stoke's dregs

So you'll have 7000 more seats than us and your revenue will be "sky high" yet we will still turn over more money than you so your whole diversion from signing Victor Moses has failed ;)

:D what truth? Oh dear now we've moved on to our manager, what about Victor Moses ?

Btw it seems our manager is learning has he grows, noticed has said frig all this preseason on transfers. Hopefully he will talk less this season.

Benzema to Arsenal for £40m says the Sun back page headline today. Slightly more believable than the click magnets. Much prefer that to the Higuain rumour.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger played down reports that a fee of £40 million might lure Karim Benzema from Real Madrid to the Emirates Stadium without ruling the transfer out entirely.

“I don’t know where that story about Benzema comes from,” said Wenger.

“It is not happening at the moment. We do not rule out making any more signings but I am happy with the squad we have. If I find an exceptional player to strengthen the squad, then I will do it. That depends on the market and it has not been easy because there are a lot of teams competing for the same player.”

time will tell with benteke and his pace , but what arsenal did to him at wembley, highlights what i mean its v debatable they would have

got away with that pre injury..

as for the age thing, apparently what happens is when refugees as benteke was, end up where ever, benteke ended up in france

as they've fled for their lives its not unusual theres no or little paper work,, again as they come from a war torn country little chance of checking

doc's and besides there's more to worry about than proving a child is 3 or 4 years younger so hence the kids get the full education as opposed

to starting 3 or 4 years above, where they would be hopelessly behind

theres examples being kanu one, and this guys extreme here's another extreme but never the less

Good News For Spurs

Tim Sherwood will use the proceeds from Christian Benteke’s proposed £32.5 million transfer to Liverpool to reignite his bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to the Daily Mail.

The Aston Villa manager wants to reunite with the Spurs misfit after the two enjoyed a productive working relationship during Sherwood’s time in the White Hart Lane dugout.

cant see the prob with having victor moses as a squad player, same as he was with you and the chavs and who knows maybe he'll step up.

i've certainly seen worse punts.

Liverpool have made contact with Premier League champions Chelsea over the possible capture of Mohamed Salah.

Italian publication Calcio Mercato Web claim the Reds have been monitoring the winger’s situation closely.

The former Basle man had been due to stay on loan at Fiorentina after signing an 18-month loan deal with the club last January.

However, he is understood to have severed ties with the Serie A side and has reportedly been eyeing a move to Inter Milan.

This has alerted Liverpool to his availability, and the report suggests they have made ‘first contact’ with their Premier League rivals.

Liverpool have also been in touch with Chelsea over a move for Mohamed Salah, according to the Metro. The Egyptian winger has snubbed a loan return to Fiorentina after ending last season with La Viola.

A host of Italian sides are interested but Chelsea are keen to attract a big fee for Salah.

And Liverpool are said to be the club most likely to meet Jose Mourinho’s demands.

Always nice to be entertained by the ongoing Liverpool vs. Spurs spat of a morning here in Buenos Aires. Keep it up ! Most amusing, though the "Pudlians" in the lead by my reckoning.

Seriously...Moses ?! Townsend and Moses on the pitch at the same time ? They'll run headlong into each other and both out for a month.gigglem.gif

What the actual Fek.....apparently Delph has been spotted going for a medical at City,

Would you rather play for Pellegrini or Sherwood ? Would you like to get out of Villa after learning that their best player is likely headed to Liverpool ? Would you like to avoid being a player for a club about to be relegated ? Would you want to avoid being forced to salute Adebayor ?biggrin.pngbiggrin.png

Would you want to spend the rest of your career on a bench? :P

The loyalty to Villa speech is still fresh in his breath, that is what amazes me here.

Totally humourless those 3 Spurs boys jelly, you can't have a good back and fourth like you do with the mancs. They're hypervsensative, insecure little creatures, who wish they were Scouse ;)
