There's not much left of the car. Looks like much more than a gas tank explosion to me. I am at the area now and many injured at Amarin Shrine.

We don't know what it is yet....I would have thought posts like "scumbags" and cowards" should hold their breath for a while....not that they will ever improve whatever the situation is ......

Looks far more powerful than a NGV tank exploding.

CNN is reporting that they're closing the area to detonate another unexploded bomb. No clue as to accuracy, as things are always hastily reported in situations like this, but something to watch out for if you're in the area.

The Thai Tourist business well be well and truely stuffed now watch the bhat drop. RIP all those that died and I pray that the people hurt live and have a normal life wai2.gif

So, how does blowing up innocent people, Thai's or tourist's help ones cause? RIP innocent victims.

So why is it every post of Stealth Energiser is blank on every post I view?

He posted a few but they are all blank pls explain

Why are the major news outlets reporting this as "Totally Unexpected?"

Because only sick people expect these kind of things.

Just been announced that schools , banks and government buildings closed tomorrow.

A bit of a strange reaction.

Edit: TV announcer NEW TV saying not confirmed about closures

So, how does blowing up innocent people, Thai's or tourist's help ones cause?

Who knows.

But elections are even further away.

Why are the major news outlets reporting this as "Totally Unexpected?"

I think it has something to do with the fact that nobody expected it, perhaps apart from you that is.

Nationwide or only in BKK please do divulge further.

The Thai military have a bit of experience with explosives. It's only prudent to evacuate the area for a search.
