Hello members.

Does anyone have any info on the date of the WSBK 2016 Thailand round?

I am not sure if it is even confirmed or not, but going on this years success there is a strong possibility it will be.

Anyone have any info for the 2016 round?

To answer my own question, Dorna replied to an on line request.

The outcome is that no official dates for 2016 have been confirmed at present.

Unfortunately for me it's two weeks too early.

Kids are still at school.

Who ever goes, have a good time

I've never been to a race meeting in Thailand but I'm hoping to go, if I can't there's always the tv. Do you know if it's still on Eurosport ?

Last year the races were shown live on local Thai TV.

If you have the chance, go to watch. The circuit at Buriram is impressive and easy to get to.

Hotels tended to be full though, unless you stay in Korat and travel.

World Superbikes 11-13th March. Can we use this thread for any news on when tickets are on sale and how to buy them. Cheers

Last year they went on sale from selected 7-11 stores in Thailand for a fraction of the price of being purchased from the official SBK web site.

I purchased from the web site as I was not in Thailand, then collected the actual ticket from the ticket office at the track on the day. All very straight forward but more expensive than MotoGP tickets for Sepang.

If you are in Thailand then no worries, if you are overseas try to get someone in Thailand to purchase them for you.

Not sure on what the arrangement for ticker purchases are this year. I won't be going sadly.

If anyone has any information on buying tix (local or online), please post here.

Haven't seen anything on the BRIC.co.th web site or WorldSBK.com yet.

What the ticket prices purchased in Thailand from 7-11 stores?

At the moment you can not buy them from 7 / 11

We got ours from the movie theatre on the 5th floor at Central Festival mall in Chiang Mai. They print the ticket right then and there. Lots of locations all over Thailand.

What was the price?

2000 baht for two days in the grandstand.

They asked if I had a discount, there were a few options, I assume if you were a Thai national and had ID you could get a discount. I didn't have any, so I paid full price.

You get a discount if you have something associated with the sponsers. Yamaha , Toyota etc. Just show your Key
