Much cheaper than an iron lung.

I started vaping more than one year ago and haven't touched a cigarette since.

Don't buy the crap that is sold in central or big C. It doesn't work very well and will not help you quit cigarettes for good. The liquid they sell is pretty bad as well.

There is a hobby/model shop "Xhobby" in phuket town that sells good quality gear and tasty e-liquids on the side.

There are also a few online vendors within Thailand and an active expat forum dedicated to vaping in Thailand. Not sure I can link them here so PM me for more info.

Silly indeed. Prior to the ban a leading Thai doctor wrote a report that referenced the ingredients of the battery in it's findings, as if users consumed the battery. I suspect the ban may be somewhat related to the Thai Tobacco Monopoly...

I used to get stuff shipped in every few months, but the last lot got confiscated sad.png

There are quite a few places that still sell supplies within Thailand, and there are numerous Thai based mail order vendors at http://www.thailandvapers.com/ - I've personally used Micky's shop with no issues at all.

There is nothing to suspect, the Thai Tobacco Monopoly (TTM) is directly responsible for the current illegal status, But like the Government Lottery Office (GLO) I wonder if there is any real government oversight

This is not unusual, even states in the US are trying to deal with the tax loss from electronic smokes and it won't be long till there is a federal tax on them

Sins are the greatest things to tax, because the government is protecting you from yourself and who can complain about that

Xhobby has closed down.

Everything has gone under cover.

Central festival, floor three. When you get off the escalator in front of the cinema, it's the second cart on the left.

Maybe because e-cigarettes are illegal in Thailand.

I don't think it will be too long before the Illegality fads away

-  as the big guns of the tobacco industry are  (i.e Phillip Morris) are already shifting their goals...

... going away from direct smoke tobacco to the vape style.

Once they all sway that way, the stuff will be allowed in,

as there will be enough justification in making the vape way a viable taxable product

it's all political, and big money buys politicians

How about a plaintive cry from me then.

3) You will not post about activities or links to websites containing such material that are illegal in Thailand. This includes but is not limited to: gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing, file sharing of pirated material, pyramid schemes, etc. Discussion of the above is permitted only as news items, but never as a "how to" topic.
