SISAKET:-- Locals in Sisaket province believe they are in for a serious amount of good fortune following the discovery of a strange, and so far unidentified creature.

The animal, which looks to be covered in large scales, with a long crocodile like head, also appears to have the legs of calf and has left experts baffled.

According to ThaiRath, the creature died a short time after being born to an otherwise healthy buffalo which belongs to a local farmer.

Video footage from Matichon TV shows locals gathered around the creature, lighting incense sticks, believing that the animal, whatever it may be, will bring them luck.

Nonsense.

It is congenitally/genetically malformed calf.

It should be buried not "worshiped".

Ok mr crocodile. You don't tell anyone about the goat and I say nothing about the buffalo! :)

It's parents must have had really wild sex! thumbsup.gif

and has left experts baffled.

Self appointed experts or real experts? Although I'm rather sure it's the latter....please don't be the latter.

If you zoom in you can see this month's lotto numbers.

Why would a seriously deformed buffalo be any reason to believe in good luck. Certainly wasn't lucky for the buffalo.

So this is where my mother in law has gone.. Si saket, ok...

Its the future coup leader of the country, half buffalo, spine of a crocodile

I see a severely malformed calf - and a lot of buffaloes gathered around it, worshipping it for "good luck".

My first thoughts were the bar girl, the old lady and a few drunks

Aloi maak. With chillies and garlic.

Now it's time to check them pesticides...

Good luck indeed - better start thinking about the types and quantities of pesticides being used in the area.

We all know the Wyoming Jackalope is authentic...

...so why not a buffadile or crocolo???

As Justin Bieber says..."Believe"...

Silly doubters: it will definitely bring luck.

Just think about the savings in pig's heads. It's a good day for pigs!

They never ACTUALLY wonder WHY these animals are SO weirdly deformed!!!!

It's what happens when you feed everything leftover rice.

These are uneducated people who believe in Ghosts and the nether world as well as evil spirits and card reading oracles.

So if they want to believe in a calf that had birth defects as a good luck symbol they who am I to take that away from them cheesy.gif

Bring them good luck? Hey, people, why don't you try joining the 21st Century!

Where are the lottery numbers located?

Rain dancing hillbilly moonshine drinkers will believe their daughter can send back 30k a month from cleaning rooms in Pattaya, this is not a stretch for them to believe at all as like the first example it suits them to believe it.
