Kuchinari Area Water Filters

Featured Replies

Has anyone around this area had their bore water tested?

If so can you publish some results?

Has anyone installed a whole house filtration system, if so, can I pick your brains on the type of fliters you installed and the results?

Our water doesn't seem to be to hard, but does seem to have iron in it.

I have read threads on TV about water quality and filtering, and that softening water takes away the drinking water quality by removing the minerals.

I have also read that you need your water tested for: bacteria, nitrate, PH, total dissolved solids, sulfate, chloride, iron, magnese and calcium.

I have sent away to the States for a water testing kit, and am also having the water tested in Thaliand, but others in the area may have already done this, so I would like to learn of you.smile.png

For years in Pattaya I drank the town water supply through our 4 stage home filter, and at the local sauna, through a Thai stainless steel filter, with not apparent problems (I hope sad.png ), and I would rather drink our own bore water (after it's been tested and treated) than buy bottled water.

I was in NongKhai a couple of weeks ago, and saw the bottled water plant on the banks of the Mekong river, and really don't want to drink bottled water that I have no idea about how it is treated.
