tartempion
The buffet at Pullman is great, however, there are 12 Days of Christmas. Weekends and holidays often find Isaan families from Bangkok and Bangkok families with Isaan connections at the buffet with kids that run around like it was the playground at McDonald's and playing with the buffet food. My recommendation: Find another one of the 12 days other than new years or a weekend to go Pullman is by far the best bet, but it is expensive for what you get. You get the choice of 2 sittings, and if you choose the early one, once you are finished with the eating part, they like to move you away to make preparations for the second sitting. Strange comments here. Attended Christmas buffet 24th evening 2013 and 2014 from 18h to 21h, no 2 sittings, onbly 3 kids mine included. Expensive, not really considering one sitting whilst I usually don't need one hour for a buffet, the exrta Chrismas team with Santa Claus and the coral singing at 20h needs to be paid as well. Will be there tonight with our brat...who is not allowed to play with buffet food.... Cheap at 1399B++? Plus drinks, Don't think so. For the last 10 years, the Pullman has had 2 sittings, as I stated, on Xmas day. Maybe this year has changed, because it has become a bit of a 'ghost town' as far as expat numbers are concerned. The OP also asked about Christmas Day lunch, i.e. December 25th. Unless you are Scandinavian, December 24th is just another day in the calendar. tartempion
2 sittings Xmas day the 25th, very well possible. As far as I know in France, Quebec, Belgium, Holland, Germany family Xmas meal is 24 December in the evening, I used to go to the midnight mass in Belgium. >Christmas celebrations have long begun on the night of the 24th, due in part to the Christian liturgical day starting at sunset,[5] a practice inherited from Jewish tradition. At Pullman Khon Kaen Xmas evening was a one sitting. Edited December 24, 2015 by tartempion

tartempion
Ignore my comments then, 24th December has indeed nothing to do with Xmas. And yes, Pullman has a Xmas day dinner.
Dumbastheycome
looks like Pullman is the place (only) I wouldn't be too sure but with Thailand banning the import of turkey, maybe so. Couldn't the USA and the UK ban the import of Thai rice? We all know that Thai rice can make one illogical, bad at driving and a little greedy don't we!!!! They did that???? Well done ! Noisy ugly frikkin vermin that taste like turd ! Eat crow !
