11 Million Baht Found in a Burmese Van at Border

CityNews -- December 13th, 11 million baht in cash was found in a van with a Burmese license plate by Mae Sai police, officials from Maesai Customs House, and military at a checkpoint in Chiang Rai.

A Burmese woman, who claimed she is the owner of the van, told the officials that she had brought the money to buy construction materials.
