Starting at 18.40 from Korat what time will reach Phuket by bus?

Well it's at least. 12 hour drive but probably a lot more in a bus, so it will be well into the next morning.

Why not get the bus to Don Muang and fly with Nok Air very reasonable and a lot nicer than all that time in a bus.

12 hours sounds little impossible:if i start 5 pm from Pattaya i will reach Phuket new terminal bus at 8.Can be a 15 hours trip from Korat to Pattaya?

I did say at least 12hours ....lol

I was basing it on Suratthani I guess but I didn't check, anyway I just looked on google maps and it says 14 hours and 23 minutes.
