Can anyone on this forum tell me what I can expect in terms of prices from the new airport to Hua Hin using a private car/taxi service?

I believe at the old Don Muang, there were transfer service desks just as you walked outside of immigration & customs. Can anyone tell where they might be located in the new airport?

don't know about the new airport, but was out there a couple of months ago when the old one was still open, and it about £39.00 but you must negotiate down to this price. coming back from hua hin is cheaper as bangkok is like paying london prices in comparison. about £27.00 returning. Again negotiate with drivers. If you want to travel really cheap, take an air conditioned bus including a drink for about a fiver if that. travel time in the taxi is between 2 1/2 - 3 hours depending how fast he drives.
