Quick question...golfing in Korat / Khon Kaen/ Khao Yai over Songkran...what is the main water day please...just planning on where not to be..thanks in advance.

Every year:

Thailand wide: April 13 -15, which this yr. is Wed. to Fri.

Pattaya: April 19, but that does not preclude some people throwing water on the 13th - 15th, especially those who have arrived from other parts of Thailand.

Phrapadaeng, Samut Prakan, and adjacent parts of Thonburi, Bangkok: Usually on a Sat & Sun. approx.one week later than the official Songkran, so this year likely

April 23 and 24.

The best is not to be in Thailand at this time. change your plans is a good idea.

You all have obviously not read todays Bangkok Post.....the powers that be have told everybody to return to tradition and just sprinkle a little water over peoples hands.......????
