Friends are travelling to Thailand in May and one of the group is wanting to get a set of motorbike leathers tailor made.

Does anyone know of and can personally recommend a Bangkok or Phuket tailor for this.

have found materials and work sub-par from those small leather work type shops. i forgot to mention rushed.

if you go in and they seem rushed or dismissive or wont explain/answer questions go elsewhere.

have been to several places up north and have all been like this, not sure exactly why.

There is a motorcycle shop on Bypass road in Phuket that will make very good custom riding leathers. Had them make some things a few years ago, good quality in every respect. Some of their designs are really fantastic, other just straight designs.

The Phuket bike/leather shop is on the side of Bypass road northbound lane, short distance after the big Kee Hin electrical supply store. Look for the motorcycles, many good H-Ds in window, some may be outside.
