CHIANG MAI:-- The bloated body of a worker guarding a building yard was found floating in a Chiang Mai klong Wednesday, reports Thaivisa News.

Police have not ruled out murder.

Authorities were alerted when a local saw the corpse of a man about thirty years of age floating in the Mae Kha canal in the Chang Pheuk district.

Police who arrived at the scene found the decomposing body being hauled from the water by workers of the Ruamjai foundation.

Noppadol Ekjit of the Chang Pheuk police said that the man had been found with wounds to his forehead.

He was found wearing a black t-shirt and forensics at the scene estimated he had been dead for three days. At a nearby building yard officers found a pair of sandals, bedding and an unwashed dish. There was no sign of a struggle.

Locals said the man was sleeping there guarding some building materials. Police suspect that the man was drunk one night and fell into the canal banging his head and drowned.

But they have not ruled out murder in the case, sending the body for autopsy to Chiang Mai so they have a detailed understanding of how he might have died. Investigations with the owner of the yard and relatives are ongoing.

No signs of struggle,so to the police this is always classed as suicide, case closed,

so if you want to kill someone, just don't disturbed anything, and you will get away

with it.

Sleeping drunk security guard...I

Feel very safe and secure.

You should go to a nice safe place such as America.......don't worry, the Second Amendment is only there for self-protection.
