It was quite pretty when the fog was just beginning to role in this morning and before everything when completely grey. It is almost ten now and the fog still hasn’t cleared, which is a bit unusual for here.

Very cool, I can’t see our neighbors houses at the end of the driveway. I hear a tractor plowing the fields out front but I can no longer see it either.

We have had fog every morning since christmas. This morning was the most dense. Our balcony was wet from the fog this morning

Wet is almost an understatement. There is water everywhere and it looks like it has been raining. I walked the dog without a hat and I could feel the tiny droplets of water on my face and head.

One other thing I have noticed, is there haven't been any ants for a while now.

It seems to thicken up after about an hour of daylight, at seven we can almost see the mountains but then it rolls in and everything disappears for a couple of hours.

I left an open packet of mints on the desk yesterday and they soon came out of hiding.

The Trackie pants must be due for a wash anyway, the Mrs has started complaining about me wearing them to bed.

It was a bit warm out on the trail today.

I was cold all day today. Finally had to give in and put on something warmer.

It was cold this morning until about 1100, Went for a drive to Dok Kham Tai where they grow sunflowers and have tours. Was very warm there.

I thought it was going to rain up here, it clouded right over then cleared late.

I return home to Chiang Rai tomorrow. (Not The Rai or The Rye). Been away too long and can't wait to get back. This time I'll stay until I get smoked out by the stubble burning.

Not much smoke now and most of the stubble is gone.

Hope you guys all had a good look at the unusually blue sky today. It will many months before you can expect it again.

Fortunately it's still there today, took the dog up the Doi Chaang road this morning and he had a good run while I had a slow walk.

It is cooler again today and last night I turned off the garden lights and the stars were amazing, but without a jacket I started getting cold after a short while.

Another beautiful morning! Even with all the burning around here in the evenings, by morning everything is back to beautiful. Even the most distant mountains are visible, with only a slight haze. The mountains up by our nearby dam are showing signs of Fall Colors and I am thinking I should get up there and take a picture or two. That breeze out of the North is really refreshing.
