Young Australian Recovering from broken hip ,seeking rehabiltiion and strength building. Udon Thani

Featured Replies

Can anyone reccomend somewhere , or someone who can help me with rehabiltiion and strength building excercises in Udon Thani area . I broke my hip 2 years ago and have been unable to do much for a long time .

I would beneift greatly in a gym environment; preferably with a training partner or personal trainer .

Thanks in advance .

Go to the gym at central they have personal trainers for a price and all the training partners you can handle.

I had a hip replacement a few years ago and the best rehabilitation i was given was in a pool doing hydro-therapy. Find a pool and do walking (both forwards and backwards) and other exercises like steps etc.- better than gym work unless you know what you are doing in the gym.

The "trainers" in the gym will not be knowledgeable about your situation.

Consider checking out rehab in physio therapy in a good hospital to start, and then continue on with the exercises which they have taught you.

A swimming pool is a great way to start, as indicated above.

Youtube is full of pool exercises for rehab.

best of luck

Amy ideas on prices for personal trainers in the local gyms ?

I have access to a pool which is not too deep , so I can walk there .

Cheers .
