VN: "500ml to 20l of fuel in a 20l can. Easy!"

papa acquired a real nice 2-liter bleach bottle for T2 mix.

Not too keen on keeping 5 gallons of gasoline in my condo.

So far I've added 1.5-litre of benzine/oil to the small trials tank.

Capacity, dunno.

Still drawing from valve @ main;

not reserve yet.

papa will buy 2 litres when dat.

Already bought 500ml of some regular certified song tee.

Used half of it to refinish some wood cabinets on the balcony kitchen

that had dried out.

Two coats; they look great.

Oh, the red bike depicted in OP is not the bike referenced.

A troll bike, I guess.

Cool looking tho.

I looked at the Pic of the Red Bike, and was thinking to myself that it does not look like the Trials Bikes I remember.

Trial Bikes, if memory serves me, have a much lower center of Gravity. IE The seat is much lower toward the Engine.

The White Bike looks about right.

Have fun, but be safe.

2/3 around the 15K loop today

on the ag road,

came upon a stopped group of 6 farang riders,

w/ Enduro Madness guides.

One of the riders had injured his L-leg or knee.

A side-by-side 4-wheeler, a pick-up truck

and a Fortuner had arrived to rescue.

Dude was still seated on his bike.

[pain w/ movement]

papa and some German dude fashioned a splint

w/ his knee flexed in normal riding position.

Seemed to relieve pain.

Then he didn't want to ride in the truck.

I think the guy wanted to ride bike  back to the shop.

[Only 2K down road to highway]

Or maybe to hospital.

The Thai guide seemed skeptical

 w/ this plan.

Didn't stick around to see outcome.

There is  a little shack/house near the trail entrance.

Sometimes papa drops off fruit as a gift.

Oranges for the kids & old folks.

Today found the house burned down.

The old guy sitting around looking stunned.

Gave hin B500.

1.  So they have finished building back a new block house for the old guy.

2. The local mocy shop has replaced the big awning in front of their  shop.

    the new one is magnificent:

All stainless steel square stock. 4x4 posts, 3x5 rafters and 2x3 purlins.

The steel roofing has bonded 1" urethane and aluminized underside.

     All finished real nice.

3.  Out riding today.  rain

     and trails got juicy.

3/4 in had to stop and replace air filter.

     Ist gut.

Looking from the rear, would that be on the left cheek or the right?

... Big brother the welder fabricator/ machinist

It's nice to be on good terms with a welder/machinist.  My son is one.  He had this plastic trigger guard on an old shotgun that busted.  After untold hours of measuring, drawing in CAD/CAM, prototyping on a 3d printer and milling on a $400K CNC machine he made his own out of a solid block of aluminum.  With design and machine time, he estimates it would cost $2,800 USD for one.  He made two for himself, 555.  The last pic is the unpolished result before powder coating.  The stupid shotgun is worth about $100.

Should help some.

Have been riding the front-side of reserve lately

because of a badly eroded section on the 15k loop.

Trails are good otherwise.

Neither too wet/ muddy

nor dry/ dusty.

Took the Cota out a few times.

The clutch never worked perfect on the bike.

Would not totally disengage.

Hydrolic.

So had a new lever, master cylinder & line installed.

New transmission fluid.     0.52 ml.

2400baht plus 500baht x 2 for transport

KMK <--> patty.

When cold, the clutch in still a little sticky,

but okay when warmed up.

Today had a new throttle assembly and cable installed.

New grips.

[will prolly order some hand-guards]

Serviced coolant and rear brake fluid.

B680.

New air filter.

Es gut.

Practiced figure 8 u turns on the  bigger and longer bike, CB 500X... working the lean and vision ahead not down. I had to put my foot down once but then all was good.  Some of those YT videos on turning are a bit overloaded, I went back to let this happen naturally.  Worked out better.
