Congrats to Ariya on winning the British Open

Featured Replies

Watched the final few holes of the Women's British Open last night and was pleased to see Ariya of Thailand holding onto her lead despite some sign of nerves over the final holes. Her lead reduced to only one shot coming to the 17th but a great birdie putt gave her a two stroke lead for the final hole. Finally won by three much to the joy of her mother and small band of Thai supporters. She has had some amazing results over the last few months and now climbs to No.3 in the world - quite something for a 20 year old.

With two men also in the world top sixty Thailand is enjoying tremendous success currently. Well done to Ariya and the two guys, Thongchai and Kiradech.

Well said, a very powerful and fine golfer.

As a bonus, she also seems to be a very nice person, and popular with other tour players. And the crowds like to watch her, as she gives the ball an almighty clout!

Some of the other Thai females are also pretty decent players too.

yep.  I watched the entire coverage.  And the Golf channel was also covering the King's cup from just outside of Pattaya last weekend also
